The 71st Republic Day Celebration was conducted at RPPS. All students from classes I to VIII took participation in the event. The day began with the march past by our students and the unfurling of the National Flag by the respected chief guest Brigadier Ranjith Nair. Next in line was the cultural program beautifully organized by our dear students. Lighting of the lamp was done by our respected Principal along with the chief guest followed by the opening song- “Bharat humkojaan se pyaarahai….”. Next, was a performance by the ‘Bulbul’ girls where they enthusiastically sung songs and did a small skit. A ‘Jugalbandi’ (duet) by the guitar and table students was a feast to watch. Karate by the students of RPPS was highly appreciated by the audience present. Last but not the least was the dance performance by the students based on the different states of our country ‘India’. The program was conducted to instill in the mind and heart of students the love and respect for their country along with the spirit of Secularism and Nationalism.
