Diwali is one of the most celebrated and auspicious festival in India It is celebrated every year with pomp and pleasure . Diwali is also known as “the festival of lights”. A festive atmosphere prevails in every Indian household during this time of the year . The main objective of the festival is to spread happiness and strengthen bonds.
In order to spread light and happiness, the students of Ruby Park Public School joined hands and participated in the activity with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students made and decorated diyas and crackers as craft work. All students of classes Nursery to 4 also participated in pottery activity, where they made pots of different shapes and sizes with clay with the help of the potter.
The activity was an attempt to subtly inculcate the festive importance of Diwali in the minds of students ,to plant the idea that it is always triumph of virtue over vices.
Ma’am’s byte: Like every year, Ruby Park Public school organised a Diwali activity for its students. This event carries on with the mood of festivity after Durga Puja. To make this event interesting, students are engaged in various craft work and fun filled activities which they enjoy thoroughly. This activity certainly spreads happiness and joy among all the students, which in turn makes this assembly a great success.
